About Me
Hi everyone! I am Miss Kylene Hatton I am and so thankful to have the opportunity to be your math teacher this year! This is my first year teaching at Los Cerritos Middle School and I can already tell it is a very special place to be. I graduated from Royal High School in 2012 and was fortunate enough to begin my undergraduate studies and collegiate softball career at North Idaho College in Coeur d' Alene Idaho. Coeur d' Alene is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to (check out the homepage photo for proof) and I recommend that everyone visit there at least once in their lives. After my two years in CDA I transferred to Texas A&M University- Commerce where I finished my softball career while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I graduated in August of 2016 with Magna Cum Laude Honors. After 4 years away, I moved home and attended Western Governors University where I earned my Single Subject Secondary Mathematics Credential and Master of Arts in Teaching- Mathematics degree in May of 2018.
Outside of school I love to travel, snowboard, paddle board, and I am a huge Dodgers fan! The sweet little kitty you see in the photo above is named Kori (after Corey Seager) and she keeps me entertained whenever I'm home.
